Honda has decided to defer capacity expansion at its second Indian plant in Rajasthan besides cutting production at the existing facility at Greater Noida, near Delhi. Honda India said it would postpone capacity enhancement and assembly operations at its second plant in Tapukara, Rajasthan

Small car buyers may soon have one more option. HONDA company is working hard on their small redesigned car honda FIT/JAZZ plans to launch it in mid 2008 in Indian market.
The Honda Jazz / Fit is a five-door hatchback automobile produced by Honda of Japan, that was first introduced in June 2001. The Jazz is based on the same platform as the Honda CityZX. At 3,830mm, the Jazz will meet the 4-metre overall length parameter that the Government has set for being eligible for the lower 16 per cent excise duty rate.

However, in most markets the Jazz or the Fit is currently being offered with a 1.5-litre petrol engine, a feature that will disqualify it for the lower excise rate, based on the Government's other 1.2-litre engine size limitation for eligible small cars. Honda could be developing a smaller sized version of its i-DSI engine for meeting the norms.

VW Scirocco Tuned by ABT

ABT, is one of the first tuners to get their hands on the new VW Scirocco, which has already begun to sell in European dealerships. This German tuner has made an aggressive looking bodykit for VW’s sport coupe that includes a new front bumper with a lip spoiler, side skirts with air inlets, a larger roof spooler, a rear skirt that incorporates a diagonally attached set of four tail pipes and a boot wing. For just a little more they have also added the feature of the option of 18" or 20" alloy rims.

The suspension brings the car 30 mm closer to the ground. This package will be available in Germany on January at the price of €5,990 or $8,300 USD.

For recreational purpose customers can also upgrade the engine's performance with ABT’s engine kits which raise the 1.4-liter TSI’s output from 160 to 200HP, the 2.0 TSI’s from 200 to 240HP and the 2.0 TDI’s from 140 to 170HP. The engine modifications can be combined with a set of larger and better disk brakes.

H&R Dodge Challenger: Suspension for a thoroughbred

Ultra-sturdy aluminium alloy H&R TRAK+ spacers in 50 and 60 mm widening per axle also add character on either standard or custom tyres, in putting an end to the unsightly visual appearance left by the gap between the edge of the tyre and wheel arch.
